There's nothing I love more than losing myself in the rolling chalk grasslands of the Wiltshire countryside, equipped with little more than my camera, sketchbook and trusty bar of chocolate. Being outdoors is one of life's simple pleasures and my work is strongly influenced by the outstanding array of wildlife that resides on my doorstep. Who'd have thought that nature could create anything so breath-taking and utterly mesmeric?
I work in a variety of media - pencil tone, ink, watercolour, oil - you name it, I've used it. Regardless of what media I choose, my work always reflects my fascination with the detail. It doesn't matter whether the subject struts its stuff on four legs or is rooted to the spot - it's the minute detail that matters most to me. Explore the pages of this website and hopefully you'll see what I mean.
My work's been published in a variety of places and publications across the UK. In recent years, I've had several commissions from the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, exhibited at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists (NEWA), had my work published in the Natural England newsletter and also helped secure the Silver Gilt award for Blackpool and the Fylde College at the RHS exhibition. I undertake private commissions, as well as sell original artworks to private collectors.
